The short version: Your data never leaves your device. We don't have servers. We don't have accounts. We cannot read your entries — only you can.
CustodyLog stores data locally on your device only. The app does not transmit your custody log entries, attachments, children's information, or any personal data to any server, cloud service, or third party.
We collect no personally identifiable information (PII) through the app itself.
All your entries, attachments, and settings are stored on your device using:

PDF Export is available as a one-time $9.99 in-app purchase processed by Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Purchase management is handled by RevenueCat, which stores a randomly generated anonymous App User ID and your purchase receipt. RevenueCat does not receive your custody log data.
CustodyLog does not include any analytics SDK. We do not track your usage patterns, screen views, feature use, or any other behavioral data.
CustodyLog is designed for adults (parents and guardians) involved in custody situations. Children's names and dates of birth entered into the app are stored only on your device and are never transmitted anywhere. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

When you export a backup or report, the file is generated on your device and shared through your device's native share sheet. We do not receive copies of your exports.

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be noted in the app release notes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
